Reserved parking is foreseen and should be reached using entrance A

from 10h00 -16h30 in the main building (building 500)

Guests needed to register for these visits in advance, and need to arrive on the CERN site and report to the registration desk in the main building BEFORE 13h45 on September 26.

An introductory presentation on CERN will start at 14h00 in the main auditorium next to the registration desk. Shuttles for the visits will depart at 14h15 from the main building which will drop the visitors after the visit directly at the CERN Globe of Science and Innovation.

NOTE: for the visit closed and comfortable shoes (no high heels) should be worn.

CERN or IEEE can not provide support for travel and hotel cost.

A block of rooms was available at the guest hostel on the CERN site on a first come first serve basis. PLEASE NOTE: people need to contact the guest hostel personally to make the reservation, now rooms are no longer blocked specifically for the event, people can still make a reservation but the hostel is expected to fill up rapidly !!
